Business & Logistics

Billing & Taxes

Olga Brouwer is registered in Portugal. European clients will typically be billed here. Invoices reflect the applicable VAT (Sales) tax. The tax number (NIF) will be provided in the invoice.

U.S. and Canada clients will typically be billed by Olga Brouwer, LLC, registered in South Dakota, U.S.A.

Time zones & Online Scheduling

My office is operated in the Azores, in the GMT-1 time zone. From here I serve different time zones. I communicate with my clients on when and what time to schedule, trying to keep in mind the client's time zone.

In reality: European appointments work best late morning/afternoon of the client. American appointments in the morning or early afternoon of the client.

I do allow to schedule during weekends.

Digital calendar invites minimize the confusion. I encourage clients to accept my digital calendar invite for that reason.

Scheduling In Person

Scheduling a coaching session in-person instead of online is possible. While operating mainly in the Azores, I travel regularly across the Atlantic. Let me know how I can help.

Regarding in-person keynotes and workshops I would love to connect with you/your organization's event planners to work out the details.

Coaching Agreement
Is there an agreement, and what does it look like?

Before starting the coaching sessions, we will talk about what coaching package or other expectations you (the prospective client) and I (the coach) have. Our coaching agreement will then reflect what we talked about and ensures clarity on our expectations. It will also include details on how to end the coaching engagement.

Guarantee
Can you guarantee success?

"You get what you put into it" is what makes all the difference with professional coaching. Dedicated, motivated clients can expect to accomplish what they expect, or beyond. It is not possible for me to guarantee your dedication and motivation, which is why it is impossible for me to guarantee you to achieving your goals. I do promise, however, to do the best I can to partner with you.

Coaching is so personal. Does this work in an online format?

While online coaching, or even via phone, has proven to be very successful: it is not everyone's cup of tea. As a coach I will create a safe space for you to work in. If the online format interferes with your sense of safety, it might simply not be for you. Unless you feel this sense is something you would like to change. Hey, it could even be a topic to coach on and shift if you desire!
